While using Our Service, We may collect the following Personal Data:

City (We do not collect full street address or postal code)

Profile photo (stored to display your profile in the app)
Health-related information: When booking an appointment, You may optionally provide a description of Your medical issue or reason for the visit. This information is considered sensitive data and is processed solely to facilitate the appointment with the selected doctor.
Usage Data

By voluntarily providing health-related information, You explicitly consent to the processing of that data for the purpose of facilitating medical appointments.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically and may include Your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers, and diagnostic data.

Information Collected While Using the Application

With Your permission, We may access Your Device’s camera or photo library solely for uploading or updating Your profile photo. You may enable or disable this access at any time in Your device settings.

Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)

If You are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), We process Your Personal Data on the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract (to provide the Service and manage appointments)
Explicit consent (for health-related information)

Use of Your Personal Data

With Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, cloud storage, and notifications.
With Doctors: When You book an appointment, We share Your name, appointment details, and any medical description You provide with the selected doctor. Doctors act as independent data controllers for the medical services they provide.
Business Transfers: In connection with mergers or acquisitions.
With Your consent: For other purposes where You agree.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary:

Account information: Duration of account + up to 24 months after deletion
Appointment and health data: As necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations
Usage data: Up to 24 months for analytics and security

After retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymized. Encrypted backup copies may remain temporarily according to our backup retention schedule.

International Transfers

Your Personal Data may be transferred outside Finland or the EEA. Where required, We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
